Sickening Baby Abuse Reported In Indiana

A father in Indiana beats his newborn daughter in an attempt to stop her from crying. The child was "found to be suffering from multiple areas of bleeding on the brain, injuries doctors believe were caused by blunt force trauma to her head."

Where is the humanity when this happens in the families? What's wrong with this man? He started squeezing his newborn when she was four months old. The punching in the head began probably when she was six months old.
According to police, Tosumba Welch told them that he frequently hit his daughter in the back and side of her head to quiet her cries. Doctors described the infant’s skull as looking like a “cracked eggshell,” with tests confirming the presence of several skull fractures.
